The M.Sc. (Integrated) Climate Change Adaptation Program was started during 2010 and is offered at ACCER, Main campus, Thrissur. This course envisaged to be of high standard, conducted in multi institutional mode, making use of the manpower and facilities of various reputed institutions in the relevant field.
The programme provides an integrated approach to the analysis of climate change in the context of agriculture and environmental management. The interaction of the atmosphere with the other components of the Earth system,and the economic and policy issues associated with climate change, sustainability, agricultural productivity and food security are central concerns in the response to climate variability and future climate change.
Minimum eligibility is a pass in Plus Two (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) examination or equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST
